Dream Diner Dicer was produced by

- Overload (Systems & Tool Development, Programming, and Animation Integration)

during the Rabbit Jam 2025.

The theme of the jam was Fading Light, and our gimmick was Carrots. 

We collaborated to create a unique rhythm game where you can chop carrots to the beat!

Little mini-bosses seem to disrupt your rhythm. You take on the role of a bunny with schizophrenia and narcolepsy who is just beginning work at a diner.
The world begins to blur and the beat pulses while you chop away. The basic mechanism is that when you miss a note, your eyes start to close, which reduces your vision and makes it more difficult to see incoming notes. (Theme)

We combined both to create Dream Diner Dicer, a surreal rhythm experience where you cut to the beat, battle mini-bosses, and fight to keep the light from fading from your eyes.
